Standing Seat with Jenn

57m
Based on the fundamental class format developed by barre originator Lotte Berk, this full body workout combines the best of classical ballet technique, Pilates and yoga. Using your own bodyweight as resistance, participants isolate and work the muscles of their upper body, thighs and abdominals to the point of fatigue then stretch them to achieve a long, lean physique. The featured seat-work is "Standing Seat”, an exercise intended to sculpt and tone your glutes and increase bone density. Give us one hour and we‘ll give you a strong, toned and healthy body!
What you will need:
A ballet barre, sturdy chair or countertop
A set of light hand weights (we prefer 1, 2, or 3 lbs)
A rolled-up towel, pillow, or some support for your low back.
A playground ball
